College Showcase / Senior All Star
Player Profile

At the end of the scholastic soccer season, male and female senior all-stars throughout Section II are invited to play in a post season College Showcase sponsored by the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, the Capital District Youth Soccer League, and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, Section II Coaches.

Participants are selected by their leagues/coaches to represent their individual conferences and showcase their talent by competing against other Section II all stars. Coaches from 2 and 4 year colleges all over the Northeast and Mid- Atlantic regions have been invited to attend the games and evaluate local players who in turn hope to be invited to continue their soccer careers in college next year.

Please note:
Because roster sizes for the showcase are limited, not every senior all star in the area will be invited to play at the showcase.  Others won’t be eligible if their team is still in the running for a state title.

Section II coaches and their league representatives meet in prior to sectionals to determine which seniors will be invited to play in the showcase. CDYSL does NOT select the participants for the College Showcase/Senior All-Star games AND will not be contacting those seniors to invite them to play.

This year's games are scheduled for
Wednesday November 11th, 2009
at DiCaprio Park in Guilderland.

The Senior Profile Booklet: Each college coach receives a booklet containing player profiles for any senior wishing to submit one. Over the years, college coaches have told us that these profiles have made matching their soccer needs and academic programs with the players' soccer skills, academic skills and interests much easier.

How to Submit a Player Profile: Any senior is eligible to submit profile. If you are interested in submitting a profile for this year's profile booklet, use the online form below to submit your information. ANY senior player who might be interested in playing soccer in college is also invited to submit a profile for the booklet regardless of whether or not they will be participating in the games.

DEADLINE: All Profiles must be received by Friday OCTOBER 23rd, 2009
